Experience

My career began with a foundation of strategic rigor and research analysis during my service in the United States Marine Corps. As a Signals Intelligence Geospatial Analyst, I operated in high-stakes environments, both stateside and during several overseas missions in Afghanistan, where I honed my technical and qualitative analysis, crisis management skills, and clear and effective communication under pressure.

My research experience continued through Stanford, where I studied psychology. I further expanded my acumen in research as a Research Assistant with the Stanford Social Neuroscience Lab (SSNL), and the Gibson Lab at the Stanford Psychiatry & Behavioral School of Medicine where I was able to contribute to a publication in Neuron. In addition, I organized Mental Health First Aid Training with the Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Association. This initiative was very important to me, deepening my understanding of human interaction and wellness and expanding my view on the importance of empathy as a key role in the design of research.

I expanded my analytical toolset through the Strategic Design MS program through Parsons School of Design, The New School. This program sharpened my creative abilities to merge innovative design with strategic planning for a systematic approach to research and product development. The corporate and political partnerships we worked with during this time allowed me to build on my technical background and transform abstract ideas into compelling visual narratives and effective communication strategies, essential in today’s business storytelling landscape.

During my time with the healthcare sector start-up XP Health, I enjoyed diving into the world of B2B sales, marketing, and product development. My Customer Success role allowed me to ensure that client needs were met through clear, strategic communication and tailored solutions, and the scrappy role gave me a breadth of experience to apply design, research, and strategic thinking. Complementing this, my current experience as an Account Executive and Marketing at Chic Home Interiors has allowed me to integrate aesthetic design, research, and UX strategy; enhancing customer engagement and market presence in a competitive environment. These opportunities have refined my ability to balance creative vision with business objectives and see the outcomes of the research applied in real time.
